Here's what life looks like after you complete the program.

$40k+

Starting Salary

Dental assistants in Texas earn $40,000+ entry-level. That's a full return on your $3,000 tuition investment in your first month on the job.

Day 1

Ready to Work

Because every class is in-person with a real dentist, you graduate knowing exactly what to do in a dental office — not just what a textbook says to do.

RGV

Frequently Asked

Questions, answered.

Why join the waitlist if the program hasn't launched yet?
The first program will be intentionally small — we're keeping class sizes limited to ensure every student gets real attention from the instructor. Waitlist members get priority enrollment before we open to the public, so joining now secures your spot in line.
What makes this different from other programs in the area?
Most programs in the RGV area are hybrid — mostly Zoom with 2 weekends of hands-on labs. Upper Valley Institute is 100% in-person, every class, taught by a licensed dentist. That's a meaningful difference when you're applying for jobs and an employer asks about your training.
Is $3,000 the full price? Any hidden fees?
$3,000 is the total tuition — instruction, textbooks, lab materials, PPE, and certification exam prep. The only separate cost is the TSBDE certification exam fee paid directly to the certifying body.
Can I work while in the program?
Yes — we offer day and evening class schedules so working adults can complete the program without quitting their current job.
What if I can't pay $3,000 upfront?
Flexible payment plans are available — typically around $250/month. Speak with an advisor about what works for your situation.
Where exactly will classes be held?
Mission, Texas — convenient for students across the Rio Grande Valley including McAllen, Edinburg, Pharr, Weslaco, and San Juan. Exact campus address shared when enrollment opens.

The first program is almost full.
